As many of our loyal readers may have already known, Henlo Lizard had been briefly suspended by our host site WordPress. The contributors here were distraught for the entirety of the 1 hour and 47 minutes that we were wronged. 

It’s disgusting that this type of tyranny and infringement on our first amendment rights is allowed to happen on this website. 

We here at Henlo Lizard will not stand for this. Being the resident token POC and gamer at Henlo Lizard, I understand what oppression feels like. WordPress has tried to silence our blog and stop us from sharing our controversial opinions about subjects that we’re not uncomfortable to bring up that they seem to be. 

The writers at Henlo Lizard are not cowards. We will not fold under the pressure of modern society and are willing to discuss these difficult topics. Topics such as being the backup backup friend, our mental health issues that caused our only source of happiness to be a half-effort reply in a group chat, or advice on how to advance your relationship in the 21st century by lying about your music tastes. 

Expect some angry tweets from a bunch of  21-22 year olds (approximately the 4 of us) in support of our blog, WordPress. Don’t even try to retaliate or apologize either. When going to war with us there is no negotiation, you will only get blood and “poopoo peepee” response tweets.
