I started to notice that after big video game releases, teams started to look a little sluggish on the field. This became apparent when the top 25 went 6-10 the week after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released earlier this year.

In a very Rovell-esque move, I took the liberty of compiling the results of the AP top 25 the week after new COD releases dating all the way back to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (when online gaming got big). The results are in the title (118-149-5). This comes out to a 44.30% win percentage, giving us 5.70% of statistical significance.
